In June of the current year, the general business climate indicator in most surveyed sectors signalled a weakening of economic conditions compared with the previous month.

The largest decline in the indicator (by 6.8 points) was recorded in accommodation and food service activities. In contrast, the most significant improvement in business sentiment was observed in wholesale trade, with an increase of 3.2 points compared with May.

Only entities engaged in manufacturing assessed the business climate negatively (minus 1.2), with the indicator remaining below the long-term average (plus 3.7).

Despite experiencing the largest decline, the most optimistic assessments were still expressed by enterprises in accommodation and food service activities (plus 20.2), where the indicator remained above the long-term average (plus 3.4).
