Consumer prices in July 2026 increased by 3.0% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year (with an increase of prices of ser-vices by 5.5% and goods by 2.0%). As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 0.8% (of which services by 1.4% and goods by 0.6%).

In July of the current year, compared with the previous month, the highest contribution to the total consumer price index came from higher prices related to: Transport (by 7.4%), Recreation, sport and culture (by 3.6%) and Information and communication (by 1.6%), which increased the index by: 0.73 pp, 0.23 pp and 0.08 pp, respectively. Lower prices related to Food and non-alcoholic beverages (by 0.8%), Clothing and footwear (by 4.1%) and Personal care, social protection and miscellaneous goods and services (by 0.4%) decreased the index by 0.20 pp, 0.15 pp and 0.02 pp, respectively.
