Foreign trade turnover1 in January–May 2026 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 667.5 bn, while in imports - PLN 679.9 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 12.5 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year 2025, exports increased by 3.5% and imports by 3.4%.
In January–May 2026 exports expressed in USD amounted to 184.8 bn, while imports amounted to USD 188.3 bn (an increase in exports of 12.9% and in imports of 12.7%). The negative balance reached the level of USD 3.4 bn, while in the same period of 2025 it was also negative and amounted to USD 3.3 bn.
Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 157.6 bn, while imports amounted to EUR 160.6 bn (an increase was observed in exports of 3.4% and in imports of 3.3%). The negative balance reached EUR 2.9 bn, compared to a negative balance of EUR 3.1 bn in the same period of 2025.
