In the third quarter of 2020, a slight stability of the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic may be observed on the labour market. However, the results of the labour force survey indi-cated the significantly higher increase in the number of unemployed by the LFS compared to the last quarter, albeit with a simultaneous increase in the number of the employed popula-tion and a drop in the number of economically inactive persons. Undoubtedly, it confirms labour market revival, including activation of persons not looking for a job or not available for work in the last quarter. At the same time, there was recorded weakening in the phenomena observed in the second quarter of this year characteristic for the employed population, such as increased absence and more frequent work from home.
