In 2020, more than 1/2 of the national value of gross domestic product was generated in 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie and Małopolskie.
In 2020, in 14 regions a growth of gross domestic product at current prices was recorded in comparison to 2019, the highest in Łódzkie region – by 4.2% and the lowest in Mazowiecki regionalny region – by 0.1 %. Whereas in the remaining 3 regions a decrease was noted.
