Report on the socio-economic situation of Opolskie Voivodship 2026
This report serves as a source of information on the socio-economic situation of Opolskie Voivodship, highlighting phenomena significant to the region’s development. Publication contains a comprehensive dataset covering areas such as environment, human capital, quality of life, entrepreneurship, production and services as well as finances of local government. Individual categories are analysed over time, which allows observation of the scale of phenomena, general development tendencies and directions of change. Furthermore, selected phenomena are presented in relation to national averages and in comparison with the other voivodships. Some issues are also presented in powiat and gmina cross-section. This year’s edition of the publication continues to include – in an annex form – selected information about Areas of Strategic Intervention (OSI), defined in National Strategy of Regional Development 2030 as areas (gminas) threatened with permanent marginalisation and urban areas losing socio-economic functions, for which special development support instruments are in place.
