Statistical Atlas of Świętokrzyskie Voivodship. Society – Quality of Life – Space
Statistical Atlas of Świętokrzyskie Voivodship. Society – Quality of Life – Space is a graphic publication that presents, in an innovative way, the current situation and key social, economic and environmental changes taking place in the region. The idea behind the Atlas is to visualise the latest statistical data, including data from experimental studies, and to interpret them in a spatial context.
A significant part of the publication is devoted to demographic issues and the impact of socio-cultural changes on the development and quality of life of the inhabitants. The Atlas also provides a detailed discussion of issues related to education, work, health, housing and the environment in which we live. In response to current information needs, it also presents issues concerning Ukrainian citizens residing in Poland, illustrating their impact on the society and economy of the region.
The data presented refer to 2024 or the latest available year, while selected issues are also presented from a multi-year perspective to illustrate the dynamics of changes. The sources of information include official statistics, including data from the 2021 National Population and Housing Census, as well as the results of experimental studies, often using a Big Data approach.
