Wiadomości Statystyczne. The Polish Statistician 7/2026
Wiadomości Statystyczne. The Polish Statistician (WS) monthly combines scientific studies and analyses with research practice in the framework of official statistics. WS features articles devoted to statistical theory and practice, presenting the results of original research based on the methods of mathematical, descriptive or econometric statistics. Furthermore, WS publishes work of an interdisciplinary character, articles on issues related to censuses, the history of statistics, statistical education, discussion articles, scientific conference reports and book reviews. WS is addressed to specialists interested in the development of statistical thought and statistical practice, particularly to members of the scientific community of statisticians and economists, representatives of other fields of science who use statistical data in their research practice, as well as to teachers, students and workers of official statistics and social institutions. The electronic version is the primary version of the journal. Issues are published on the website on the last working day of a given month or – in the case there are two consecutive non-working days at the end of a month – on the first day of the next month.
