Health care expenditure in 2023–2025
According to preliminary estimates, national current expenditure on health care in 2025 amounted to PLN 348.0 billion, representing 8.9% of gross domestic product1. Compared to 2024, they increased by PLN 60.4 billion2, i.e. by 21.0%. Expenditures from the compulsory contributory health insurance system had the highest dynamics (an increase of PLN 42.3 billion, this is 24.6%).
