Methodological report. Higher education and its finances
The objective of the survey is to provide information on the activities of public and non-public higher education institutions, as well as other institutions of the higher education and science system conducting degree programmes, specialist education, postgraduate studies, and doctoral schools. It covers the number of students, graduates, postgraduate students, participants of specialist education, and doctoral students, including persons who were awarded a doctoral degree after graduating from a doctoral school. Furthermore, it provides data on titles of professor, degrees of habilitated doctor, and doctoral degrees, employment in higher education institutions, as well as benefits for students. Data on revenues, costs, financial result, funds, and investment expenditures of higher education institutions allow, among others, for obtaining information on the financial management of higher education institutions.
