Statistical Atlas of Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship Society – Quality of life – Space
The publication contains a comprehensive set of statistical information divided into eight thematic sections. It presents the location and administrative division of the voivodeship, but primarily highlights demographic changes against the backdrop of issues related to the labor market, education, housing, and healthcare. The atlas also includes information on the residents' environment, illustrating their standard and quality of life.
The analyzed phenomena are presented using charts, cartograms, and cartodiagrams. The primary scope of data covers the years 2023, 2024, or the latest available year. To illustrate trends over time, selected issues are presented in a multi-year retrospection, most frequently dating back to 2000. Data is provided at the voivodeship, powiat (district), and gmina (municipality) levels. Selected information has been compiled in 2x2 km grids. Some phenomena are also presented taking into account city size criteria and according to the Delimitation of Rural Areas.
The primary source of data used in the publication is the information resources of official statistics. Part of the information comes from the 2021 National Population and Housing Census, as well as the Public Services Monitoring System. Additionally, the publication features results of experimental research utilizing new methods, tools, and software solutions that enable the processing and integration of large datasets (Big Data).
